Class Policies

REFUND POLICY

Class Cancellations must be made 24 hours prior to the start of the course in order to receive a full refund. Refunds are only given for in-person classes. All Blended Learning classes are nonrefundable, due to students having access to digital resources after they have registered for the course. If you cancel your class with less than 24 hours notice, you will forfeit 50% your class fee. Which means you will receive a refund of only half the registration fee process using the form of payment listed on file. RESCHEDULE POLICY

Student’s can reschedule their class as long as they give 24 hours notice. There will be no cost to reschedule the class if the student gives at least a 24 hours notice. 
If the class is rescheduled less than 24 hours in advance, 50% of the class fee will be forfeited due to administration fees.
The student must use the reschedule credit within 60 days of their original registration date
All reschedule requests must be received by either writing an email to lifesaviorcpr@gmail.com, or by calling 443-966-3797 to reschedule your class.

CANCELLATION POLICY

If you cancel your class with greater than 24 hours notice, your class fee will be applied to the new date or refunded (refunds are only given for in-person classes).

EMERGENCY CANCELLATIONS

In unforeseen circumstances, such as severe weather, instructor illness, or family emergencies, it may become necessary to cancel an in-person class. If such a situation arises, registered students will be promptly notified and provided with the option of receiving a refund or prioritized enrollment in the next available class.
Please be aware that classes may be canceled in the event of severe weather or if the hosting facility deems it necessary to close due to an emergency.

NO SHOW POLICY

If a student fails to attend a scheduled CPR class without prior notice, the registration fee will be forfeited in its entirety. No refunds will be issued in such cases. Additionally, if a student does not attend the class and has not confirmed a rescheduled date, they will be deemed a no-show.

CLASS START TIME POLICY

If a student or organization arrives more than 10 minutes late for the scheduled start time, they will be politely requested to reschedule the class. However, rescheduling will necessitate an additional fee of $35, which will be charged to the original payment method of the organization or student. Please prioritize punctuality to avoid any inconvenience. Please note that certification cards cannot be issued until all outstanding balances are paid in full.

STUDENT RETAKE POLICY

If a student does not pass a skills check, written test, or online portion, they are entitled to reschedule their skill session once at no additional cost. However, should the student fail a second time, they will be obligated to retake the entire class, necessitating payment of a new registration fee.

OUTSTANDING BALANCE POLICY

All outstanding balances must be settled in full before the start of the class. In the event that a student or organization has an outstanding balance, the original payment method will be charged within 14 days after the due date. Please be aware that certification cards will not be issued until all outstanding balances are paid in full.
