BASIC LIFE SUPPORT (BLS)

Blended Learning
The BLS Blended Learning course is a two-part course consisting of an online component (Part 1) and an in-person skills assessment & testing (Part 2).

This course offers the same comprehensive training as an in-person class, with the added benefit of flexibility for those who have busy schedules to learn at their own pace in a comfortable environment.

Despite Part 1 of the course being online, this course is still designed to equip students with the necessary skills to save the lives of cardiac arrest victims through high-quality CPR. BLS students will learn rescue techniques for adults, children, and infants, including adult and pediatric CPR, foreign body airway obstruction, and the use of automated external defibrillation (AED).

Upon completing Part 1, students will schedule an appointment for the in-person skills assessment (Part 2), print their online completion confirmation and bring to their skills assessment. After successfully completing skills assessment, a BLS certification card will be issued.

Two-Year Certification from the American Heart Association upon completion

Course Length: Approximately 2 hours for in person skills assessment & testing
